About me

My name is Drew, and I am a lady. I am not ladylike, but I am a lady nonetheless. This isn't particularly important, but people assume that Drews are males, so I wanted to clarify. Most people who know me know I have cystic fibrosis; it's not that it dictates my life too much, but I am very vocal about it because, hey, this thing isn't going to cure itself.

In May 2019, on my husband's birthday, he was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, so that has been an adventure. Despite our rebellious bodies, we aim to keep a mostly positive attitude, most of which is driven by humor. We met at a comedy theater, so...

If I ran into an old friend today, the friend would ask, "Are you still doing improv?" I performed improv from 2008 until 2017, but I retired because I was too funny to continue. I am self-employed and I LOVE IT! I do a good bit of freelance writing, but I dabble in other things as well. Other things I like include dogs, cheese in its various forms, being an Atlanta sports fan (regardless of how traumatizing that is), watching game shows, drinking coffee, doing puzzles, reading, etc.

I love people and, in turn, I think you are awesome.
